20 Sep 18 - 25th District Community Alert Armed Robbery
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 25th District (Grand Central) of recent Armed Robberies that have occurred on beat 2535 and 2534. In these incidents, 2 unknown offenders approached the victim, displayed a firearm, and proceeded to rob the victim of personal belongings. Additionally, in one incident the offenders also demanded the victim’s car keys, but were unsuccessful in obtaining said keys. Also, in one of these incidents the offenders were able to take the victim’s vehicle.

This alert gives notice to businesses in the 25th District (Grand Central) of recent

Commercial Armed Robberies. In these incidents a White male offender entered several

businesses and grabbed merchandise. The offender then approached the cashier,

displayed a knife and demanded money.

This alert gives notice to residents in the 25th District (Grand Central) of recent Commercial burglaries. In these incidents, an unknown offender broke a side window and made entry into the business through the side window. After entering the business the unknown offender stole money and property from within.

01 Aug 18 - Community Alert - Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking P15-N-197(CA) - 25th District - NP

This alert gives notice to residents in the 25th District of recent vehicular hijacking incidents. In these incidents, the offenders approached the victims and ordered these victims out of their vehicles at gunpoint. The offenders then fled the scene with the victims’ vehicles.

16 Jul 18 Major Accidents Community Alert, jb351256
On July 15, 2018 at about 10:00 p.m., a 64 year old male pedestrian was crossing the street near 5239 W. Fullerton Avenue. He was fatally struck by a speeding eastbound driver. The Ford Edge is white in color, and may have tinted windows surrounding. It fled east on Fullerton Avenue then north on Laramie Avenue. The driver’s side mirror housing was knocked off and the front driver’s side of this vehicle is likely to show damage from the crash.
