The 25-year-old male victim, who was an acquaintance of the offender, was pronounced at Stroger Hospital after the offender shot him during an altercation. There is no further information available.

Arieus Fitch, 20 was arrested after he was identified as the man who shot 2 juveniles, fatally wounding one. This incident occurred on May 24, 2015 at approximately 8:20 p.m. in the 4400 block of S. Cottage Grove Ave. Two male, ages 14 and 15, were walking outside when shots were fired at them from a passing light colored sedan. The 15 year old male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the back and was pronounced on the scene. The 14 year old male was taken to the University of Chicago with a gunshot wound to the ankle. Fitch was identified as the shooter and charged accordingly. No further information is available at this time.
