This alert gives notice to citizens of the 6th District (Gresham) on Beat 621 of robbery incidents between September 4, 2015 and October 1, 2015. In these incidents, one to two unknown male offender(s) approach their victims and by
use of force, robs the victims of their property. In one incident the offender displayed a handgun and demanded for the victim to “take off everything”.
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 006th District (Gresham) of several armed robberies that have occurred between 23 August 2015 and 23 September 2015. In these incidents, one to three unknown male black offenders approached the victims, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash, cellular phones, and various other personal items of value.

The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Gresham (6th) District this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 6th, 2015.
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 006th District (Gresham) of robberies involving victims who are lured to locations through the use of social media. In each of these incidents, the victims made contact with a female utilizing the website skout.com where they would make plans to meet. Upon arriving at the designated location, the victims discovered the female offender was not alone, but rather in the company of several other males. These male offenders in turn proceeded to beat and rob the victims of their valuables.

Christopher Kirby was arrested after he was identified as the man who shot two people on July 19, 2015 at approximately 3:05 a.m. in the 9100 block of S. Ashland Ave. Kirby approached the victims on foot and fired shots in their direction. A 25 year old man sustained a gunshot wound to the face and buttock and a 30 year old female sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. Both victims were taken to Christ in serious condition for treatment. Kirby was charged accordingly.
Joshua Ford was arrested in connection to a murder that occurred September 21st, 2014 on the 7700 block of South Stewart Ave at approx. 2:40 am.

The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Gresham (6th) District this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 21th, 2015.
Cordarius Lawrence, Darryl Wilson, and Joshua Martin were arrested after they were identified as the men responsible for the murder of a 29-year-old man on February 6, 2014. The incident
occurred on the 8100 block of S. Marshfield Ave. at approximately 2:15 a.m. Officers responded to a call of shots fired and found the male victim unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the chest.
