Ochoa was arrested and charged in connection to a fatal traffic crash that killed a three-year-old male.  The incident occurred on the 3900 block of W. 47th St. on July 20, 2013 at approximately 10:20 p.m.  The victim ran onto the street from between two parked cars and was struck by Ochoa.  The victim was transported to Christ where he was later pronounced. Ochoa was cited for the accident and it was later determined through the course of the investigation that Ochoa was under the influence of a controlled substance.  An investigative alert was issued and Ochoa was stopped on a traffic violation on April 26, 2015 and charged accordingly.

Fuentes was arrested and charged with the above offense after she recanted her story of being the victim of a kidnapping.   Fuentes originally reported to Area Central detectives that on April 11, 2015, at approximately 8:30 am on the 2000 block of S. Pulaski, while standing at a bus stop a male approached her and struck her in the back head.  Fuentes stated that she was then dragged to a nearby abandoned building and held against her will by three male offenders until she was able to escape on April 14, 2015.  During the course of the investigation, Fuentes openly admitted to fabricating the story and was subsequently taken into custody and charged accordingly.  Charges for Veronica Fuentes

Shikita Woods was arrested and charged with the above offenses in connection to the death of a 53-year-old male victim on April 12, 2015, at approximately 1:10 pm on the 5500 block of S. State Street.  During a domestic altercation with her husband, Woods entered her vehicle and intentionally struck a vehicle her husband was a passenger in causing the vehicle to strike a light pole and then the victim, who was standing on the sidewalk.  The victim was transported to Stroger hospital where he was later pronounced.  Woods husband and the driver of their vehicle were transported to Mercy hospital and were listed in stable condition.   Woods was subsequently taken into custody and charged accordingly.
