About the Crime:

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of two Robbery-Related incidents that have occurred in the month of January. In both incidents, the victim was seated in a parked vehicle when the crimes occurred. On January 15th, the offender struck the victim with fists and took the victim’s purse. On January 16th, the offender displayed a firearm and fled the scene without obtaining the victim’s purse.

About the Crime:

There have been Armed Robberies of food delivery drivers, mainly between the hours of 9:00 P.M. and 9:15 P.M. In these incidents anywhere from one male black and three male white Hispanics wearing a black wearing hooded sweatshirt, black skull caps are robbing the delivery drivers as they are walking to or leaving from their delivery destination. The same offender(s) have also committed two street Robberies.

About the Crime:

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in District 019 of recent thefts on CTA trains at the Redline Wilson stop. The offender grabs a cell phone from victim’s hand and runs off the train. Incident times are listed below.

• December 28th, 2014, at approximately 2:15am
• January 9th, 2015 at approximately 10:45pm
• January 14th at 11:25pm

About the Crime:

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several residential burglaries that have occurred in the month of December and January. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) entered apartments and residences, through windows or doors, and took property, including electronics, jewelry, cash, and other miscellaneous items.

About the Crime:

This alert gives notice to businesses in the 25th districts of a pattern of convenience store robberies being committed. In two (2) of the robberies, a male black and a male white enter the store, engage the store employee in conversation over merchandise, then walk behind the counter, imply they have a weapon, and then take cartons of cigarettes. In the other two (2) robberies, a male white enters the store, engages the store employee in conversation over merchandise, displays a handgun, and demands money from register.
