16th District (Jefferson Park)
About the Crime:
There have been two recent Commercial Robberies in the 16th District. In each of
these cases, the offenders entered the businesses, requested to use the restroom
and then threaten and struck the victims upon demanding money and property from
them.
Incident times and locations:
• 4900 block of W. Irving Park on April 19th 2017, at 12:05 PM.
• 5600 block of N. Milwaukee on May 5th 2017, at 3:00 PM.
About the Offender:
• Offender(s) are described as male black, 17-20 years of age, approximately
5’06-5’10.Wearing black hooded sweatshirts and jeans.
What you can do:
• Be aware of this crime and alert other Businesses.
• Business owners should ensure that their businesses are equipped with a
working video surveillance system.
• Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender(s)
including any vehicle description and license plate information as well as
direction of flight, if known.

CPD Community Alert – 17th District Sexual Exploitation of a Child
08 MAy 17 – Com ALert Sexual Exploitation of a Child 17th DistOn May 8, 2017, between 4:15 and 4:30pm, the 14 year old female victim was walking home from school. While at the northwest corner of Gunnison and Sacramento, the victim was approached by the offender, who was driving a black vehicle. The offender engaged the victim in conversation and asked her to look at something he was holding. When the victim leaned over to look, she observed that the offender did not have any pants on and was masturbating. The victim then ran away and the offender fled southbound on Sacramento.
Community Alert- 016th District Garage Burglaries
BUSINESS ALERT- Burglaries 19th, 20th and 24th Districts
CPD BUSINESS ALERT- Commercial Burglaries 16th District
This alert gives notice to businesses within the 16th District (Jefferson Park) about recent burglaries which have occurred overnight during the month of April. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gained entry to the premises by forcibly kicking or prying open the front or rear door. Offender(s) also have gained entry by breaking the front windows of the business. Once inside, the offender(s) took money and various other items including electronics and cigarettes. CPD Community Alert – Armed Robberies 17th District (Albany Park)
This alert gives notice of two recent Armed Robberies that have occurred within the boundaries of the 17th District (Albany Park). In both incidents, the victims were standing at CTA Bus Stops when they were robbed. In one incident, the offenders displayed a handgun and took the victim’s wallet. In the other incident, the offender placed an object against the victim’s back and took his wallet. For More Information Click Here
DUI Saturation Patrol – 19th (Town Hall) District
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol in the 19th (Town Hall) District this weekend. The DUI Saturation Patrol will commence at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 and end at 2 a.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017.

About This Crime
On May 01, 2017, at approximately 9:12 p.m., the 16-year-old female juvenile was walking northbound on Long Ave. from Division St. (NE corner) when she noticed a small red 4-door sedan vehicle with a male black driver following her.
CPD COMMUNITY ALERT- Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault 19th District
On April 30, 2017 at approximately 9:10 p.m. a 31-year-old female was walking southbound on the 4300 block of North Campbell when she was approached from behind by an unknown offender, described as a male black wearing a dark colored sweatshirt. The offender produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The offender then ordered the victim into the alley on the 2400 block of W. Pensacola where he sexually assaulted her. The offender then fled westbound in the alley.
