On April 06, 2016, at approximately 8:48 p.m., the male juvenile was walking home after his basketball game. The minor reached the stairs of the CTA Green Line at Lake and Pulaski Street (S/W corner), when a dark blue vehicle with its interior light on and unknown male white driver drove alongside the curb and stopped. The unknown offender leaned over to the passenger side window which was already down and said “get in the car, get in the car, get in the car right now.” The minor was fearful and immediately went home and alerted his mother who called 911. Two weeks prior the minor encountered a similar incident in the same vicinity and believes it to be the same vehicle and the same unknown male white offender. That incident was unreported.
South Side Man Charged in Robbery of Elderly Woman
Darren Berlin, a.k.a. Larry C. Tolliver, was arrested and charged after being identified as the offender who robbed an elderly 75-year-old female on the 3600 block of North Pine Grove Ave, at approximately 8:55 a.m., on March 27, 2016. Click here for more information.
CPD News Release- DUI Strike Force Harrison (011th District)
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Harrison (11th) District this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2016.

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several residential burglaries that have occurred in the months of March and April. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) entered residences through the front/rear doors or windows. The offenders took electronics, jewelry, cash, and other miscellaneous items
CPD COMMUNITY ALERT- Wanted for Burglary 018th District
The pictured offenders are wanted in connection with Burglaries occurring in the 018th District (Near North) throughout January and February. During these crimes the male offender broke a window to a business and took money from the cash register. The female offender acted as a lookout. Incidents have occurred along North and Milwaukee Avenues mainly between the hours of 12:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M.
CPD Community Alert: Wanted for Attempt Kidnapping/Child Luring 25th District
On March 23, 2016, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a female 14 years old was walking north on the 2300 block of north Moody. An unknown male offender, motioned to the victim to come to his vehicle. When the victim ignored his gesture, he opened his door, to exit the vehicle. The victim, in fear, fled on foot, the offender followed in his vehicle. The offender attempted to block the path of the victim, who continued to flee. The offender was last seen east bound in the south alley of Fullerton.
The offender is described as a male, race unknown, 18-35, with a shaved head and tan skin wearing a white dress shirt with red colored neck tie. The vehicle is an unknown make and model, 4-doors, black in color with silver trim around the windows.
CPD Business Alert: Commercial Burglaries in the 16th District (Jefferson Park)
There have been several overnight burglaries to retail establishments in the 016th District. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have gained access to the businesses by shattering the front glass window or by prying the front entrance open. Offender(s) have also gained entry to the premises through the roof.

- 5500 block of W. Devon on March 24, 2016 at 5:05 am
About the offender:
In 5300 block of N. Milwaukee, 5500 N. Milwaukee and 4000 N. Milwaukee, the offender is described as a male black, wearing dark clothing, hoody under jacket, knit cap and gym shoes.
CPD COMMUNITY ALERT- 011th District CTA Robberies
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 011th District (Harrison) of two robberies that occurred in the month of March. In both incidents, the victims were passengers on a CTA train when the offenders approached the victims and demanded their jackets and cell phones.
