On Friday February 5, 2016 approximately 6:38 P.M. 25-year old Aaren O’Connor was shot while sitting in her car on the 2000 block of west 21st Street in Chicago. Aaren died from her wound. Cook County Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve this murder. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 cash reward (good for 60-days) for information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this crime. Teague was arrested after he was identified as the person who deliberately scalded a cat with a hot liquid. A video of the incident was posted on Facebook on February 2, 2016, at approximately 10 p.m., showing Teague luring a cat onto a rear porch and pouring boiling water onto the cat. The Chicago Police Department Animal Crimes Team, along with the Cook County Sheriff’s Department, were able to gather information through the course of the investigation and identified Teague as the offender.  Click here for more information.

This alert gives notice to residents of the Morgan Park (22nd) District of motor vehicle theft incidents that occurred in the Beverly & Morgan Park neighborhoods. Unknown offender(s) have been in the
area targeting Ford Econoline vans parked on residential streets. Offender(s) target this style vans
because of the tools and equipment they commonly contain. Four vans have been stolen in the area
during the early morning hours between 12:00 a.m.-7:30 a.m. Click Here For More Information

This alert gives notice to commercial establishments in the 4th (South Chicago) and 22nd District (Morgan Park) of two reported drug store robberies. In each incident, the offender entered the location and approached the counter pretending to make a purchase. As the cashier opened the register, the offender produced a canister of pepper spray and discharged it in the face of the employee. The offender proceeded to remove money from the register and flee the location on foot.
