02 Apr 17 JA-180407 Fatal Crash Community AlertAfter flashing gang signs and getting into a verbal altercation with the victims at a gas station located at 2801 W. 59th Street, the above vehicle chased the victims’ vehicle to 4411 W. 59th Street.  At that location, the victims’ vehicle crashed into multiple parked vehicles and the victims suffered serious personal injuries.  One of the victims died from the injuries.  The crash occurred on March 9, 2017 at 1:44 A.M., The above vehicle fled westbound on 59th Street.

03Feb17 Charges Gather,JesseGather was arrested after being positively identified as the offender who fatally struck a 35-year old woman with his vehicle as she crossed the street. The accident occurred in the 1300 block of South Kedzie on February 1, 2017 at approximately 6:27 p.m.

30 Jan 17 Charges for Monnrroy, Yonatan – Agg DUI  CORRECTION: ADDRESS IS 400 BLOCK OF N. ASHLAND: Monrroy-Madrid was the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal crash on January 28, 2017 at approximately 1:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of N. Ashland Ave.  Monrroy-Madrid was traveling Westbound in a Jeep SUV on Hubbard and disregarded traffic signals which resulted in a traffic crash and death of a 58 year old male.

On November 20, 2016 at 4:01 A.M. a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at 800 N. LaSalle. The 23 year old man was struck by the below described vehicle.

White in color mid-sized SUV (2016 Jeep Compass) bearing Indiana license plate BU3440. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on LaSalle from Chicago Ave.

On February 16, 2016 at approximately 5:18 p.m., two pedestrians, a male and a female, both 16-years-old, were struck by a vehicle as they were crossing the street in the 5300 Block of W. Grand Avenue. The victims were struck by an unknown vehicle.  is described as a dark green in color, SUV, (possible Jeep Rubicon with spare tire on back and “Rubicon” printed on hood). The vehicle fled southbound on Laramie Avenue.For More Information Click Here

27FEB16 Pearson,RickyPearson was arrested after he was identified as the driver who caused a traffic crash on the 300 block of N. Hamlin on February 27, 2016 at approximately 6:25 a.m. Pearson was traveling eastbound on Lake St. when he failed to stop at a red light and struck a vehicle in the intersection causing the vehicle to strike a pillar. Two male juveniles were ejected from the vehicle that was struck and were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. A female adult driver was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported. Pearson was charged accordingly. No further information is available.

29FEB16Fajardo,FelixFajardo was arrested and charged in connection to a fatal hit and run that occurred on the 3200 block of N. Milwaukee Ave. on February 21, 2016 at approximately 5:20 a.m. Fajardo was the driver of a white SUV and was traveling Northwest on Milwaukee when he struck a 34 year old male that was crossing the street at the intersection. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced. Fajardo fled the scene and was later identified as the offender responsible for the crash. No further information is available.
