(720 ILCS 5/26-1(4))A person commits disorderly conduct when he/she knowingly:(4) Transmits or causes to be transmitted in any manner to any peace officer, public officer or public employee a report to the effect that an offense will be committed, is being committed, or has been committed, knowing at the time of such transmission that there is no reasonable ground for believing that such an offense will be committed, is being committed, or has been committed.

Did the incident occur within the Chicago city limits?

If the incident did not occur within the Chicago city limits, you should contact the city or county where the incident occurred instead of submitting a police report online with the City of Chicago.

Are you eighteen (18) years of age or older?

If you are under the age of eighteen (18) years of age, you cannot submit a police report online. Please have a parent or guardian submit the police report for you.
