“I grew up in Orangeburg, South Carolina. I was formally a member of the United States Army, assigned to Chicago as an Army Recruiter. My assignment allowed me to fall in love with this great city. Discharged from the Army I joined a great institution, the Chicago Police Department. Over my 24 years as a Police Officer, I have held various assignments which have brought me to the 5th District. I believe that by working in partnership with our community and stakeholders, we will provide an exemplary level of service and protection to residents, businesses and to all those who may visit, work or travel through our community. As a District we will be determined in seeking out and soliciting residents that want to make a difference within our community and implement a positive change.”
