The above listed offenders were arrested after they were identified as the persons responsible for the murder of an 18 year old male on December 22, 2014 in the 5500 block of W. 63rd Place at approximately 10:25 am. The victim was shot multiple times and taken to Christ Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. All were charged accordingly.

About the crime:

This alert gives notice to citizens in the 002nd District (Wentworth) of armed robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of December. In these incidents, offenders would approach victims on foot, display a handgun and demand property. Incident times and locations are listed below:

About the Crime:

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of several robberies that have occurred in the month of December. In one incident the offender displayed a blunt object and demanded property from the victim and took her purse. In another incident the offender struck the victim in the eye with a closed fist and took her purse. In another incident, the offender pushed the victim to the ground and took a wallet from his pocket.

Jason Rayford was arrested and charged for the death of a 24 year old male pedestrian on December 21, 2014 in the 5300 block of S. Western Ave at approximately 3:10 a.m. Rayford was the passenger of the vehicle that struck the male, killing him. Rayford began fighting and striking the 29 year old female driver while she was driving. Rayford then pulled on the steering wheel causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle struck the victim. He taken to Christ Hospital where and succumbed to his injuries.
