This alert gives notice to residents in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the months of August and September on Beat 321. In these incidents, the victims were lured to the locations through online applications, such as “Offer Up” and “Let Go”, to purchase property.  When the victims arrived, the offenders took their property by force.

This alert gives notice to citizens in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of August. In these incidents, the offender approached the victims on the sidewalk or in the parking lot under the ruse of borrowing change or a phone. The offender then displayed a knife and demanded/took property.

This updated alert gives notice to citizens in the 003rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of July and August. In these incidents, the offender approaches the victims on the sidewalk or in an alley, produces a handgun, and demands USC or their wallet.  In one incident, the offender approaches on a mountain bike. In another, the offender flees on a Divvy bike. Incident times and locations are listed below:

This alert gives notice to businesses in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of July. In these incidents,the offender entered the businesses, approached the cashiers while displaying a handgun, and demanded the employees to open the cash register. In two instances, the offender fled on a bicycle that was described as blue or black and white.
