Commercial Burglaries have occurred in the 024th (Rogers Park) District during which unknown offender(s) have pried open the rear or side doors of businesses to gain entry. The offenders(s) then pried open cash registers and removed cash.
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 009th District (Deering) of burglary incidents which have occurred during the month of August. In these incidents, offender(s) gain entry into residences and take property from therein.
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 009th District (Deering) of armed robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of August. In these incidents, two offenders approach victims with a handgun and demand their property.

This alert gives notice to citizens of the 004th District (South Chicago) of two reported armed robberies involving similarly described offenders which occurred along 83rd Street. In each instance, the victim was approached by multiple armed offenders and robbed.
This alert gives notice to residents of the Morgan Park (22nd) District of recent Theft from Vehicle incidents that occurred in the Beverly neighborhood.
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of burglaries that have occurred in the month of August. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences, through windows or doors, and have taken electronics, cash, and other miscellaneous items.
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Ogden (10th) District this weekend.

About these crimes:
On August 26, 2015, there were numerous reports of catalytic converters thefts from vehicles located in the Beverly & Morgan Park neighborhoods (9900-11700 S. Campbell – Washtenaw). Most of the targeted vehicles appear to be small to mid-size SUVs. The thefts occurred between 12:00am and 5:30am. Pictured above is a catalytic converter. After cutting them off of cars, the converters are usually taken to junk yards and could be worth up to several hundred dollars.
About the offenders:
Victims & witnesses reported observing two male African American subjects dressed in hooded sweatshirts committing these thefts. The offenders were driving in a black Mercedes sedan with Illinois Dealer plates.
