29 Sep 17 Criminal Sexual Abuse - 17th District Community Alert JA451849
On September 29, 2017 at 4:15 pm, juvenile female victim was on the #53 Pulaski CTA bus N/B from Irving Park Rd. The Offender sat next to victim, rubbed his elbow against her chest, making contact with her breasts. The offender then began to rub the victim’s left thigh with the back of his hand. As the victim got up from her seat to leave, the offender then cupped her buttocks as she walked past him.

Wanted for Burglary
9th District (Deering)
About the Crime:
Officers responded to Burglary on the 700 block of W. 26th Street that occurred on September 22,
2017 at approximately 10:15 p.m. Three armed unknown male Hispanics approached a residential
front door and attempted to enter unsuccessfully. They were then able to make entry through a
window and removed a safe through the front door. Please see photos below.
About the Offenders:
• Male Hispanic aged 20-30 years, Medium build, full beard wearing a Cubs baseball hat, light
hooded sweatshirt, dark t-shirt, dark jeans. The offender has multiple tattoos on arms: circular
tattoo design on lower right forearm, dark writing on the lower left forearm (Top two photos)
• Male Hispanic aged 20-30 years, Slender build, full beard, wearing a black skull cap, light
colored hooded sweatshirt and light colored sweatpants
• Male Hispanic aged 20-30 years, Heavy build, full beard wearing a light colored hooded
sweatshirt, light colored jeans. The offender has a dark tattoo on right hand similar to the
tattoo that the first offender has on his lower right forearm. (Bottom two photos)

Garage Burglaries
016th District (Jefferson Park)
About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several garage
burglaries that have occurred in the month of September 2017. In these incidents, unknown
offender(s) gained entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the overhead or side door and
also entered through unlocked doors. Offender(s) then took construction tools, bicycles,
and GPS locators.
Incident times and locations:
There have been several incidents that have occurred since September 06, 2017. These
incidents have taken place on Beat’s 1633 and 1634.
5100 block of W. Melrose on September 06, 2017 at between 7:30 AM – 5:45 PM
5700 block of W. Waveland on September 08, 2017 at 10:00 AM
4900 block of W. Waveland on September 10-14, 2017 between 6:30 PM – 6:40 PM
5100 block of W. Byron on September 16, 2017 between 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
5800 block of W. Berenice on September 22-23, 2017 between 10:45 PM – 9:30 AM
6000 block of W. Byron on September 23, 2017 at 6:19 AM

• Be aware of this pattern crime and alert your friends and family about these crimes.
• Make sure all doors and windows are locked.
• Pay special attention to any suspicious subjects loitering in the area.
• Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender(s), including any
vehicle description and license plate information, as well as direction of flight, if known.

24 Sep 17 Community Alert - 8th District Attempt Kidnapping JA 432141
On September 15, 2017, at approximately 7:20 a.m., a 14 year old female/victim was walking to the bus stop located at 6701 S. Pulaski  when a male black offender drove alongside her and motioned for her to get in his vehicle. The victim fled to the Currency Exchange located at 6701 S. Pulaski and the vehicle circled twice attempting to lure the victim into the vehicle. The offender then drove away in the vehicle.  This incident occurred at 6701 S. Pulaski.
