This alert gives notice to residents in the Roseland and Calumet Heights neighborhood of recent armed robberies. In these incidents, the victims are robbed by armed offenders while at a gas station. These cases occurred in the vicinity of Michigan Ave to Jeffery Ave on 95th St. The offenders take victims USC, wallets, and purses.
31 Mar 21 - Juvenile Offender Charged with First Degree Murder _200 block of N. Latrobe
The above offender was taken into custody on March 30, 2021 after he was positively identified as the offender who fatally shot a 20-year-old male on September 26, 2020 at approximately 4:53 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Latrobe Ave. in the 15th (Austin) District. The offender was placed into custody and charged accordingly. No additional information is available at this time.
