About the Crime:
On 5 January 2015, at approximately 8:45 PM, a 13 year old female was walking home from a friend’s house in the 3700 block of west Ainslie when an adult male offender approached her from behind. The offender uttered unknown words to her in Spanish and grabbed the victim’s buttocks. The victim began to scream and the offender fled through a nearby gangway.
Officers from the 24th District and Peterson Garden Project hosted a holiday cookie workshop for area seniors.

The 007th District partnered with “Blessed Child Organization” this past weekend for their annual Toy Drive. Santa Claus, along with volunteers from Girl Scout Troop #27097, helped to pass out gifts and spread some holiday cheer to the children of Englewood and their families.

The 010th District celebrated the holidays with their Annual Christmas party for children living in shelters that are located within the District. Enlace, The Flisk Family Foundation and 010th District Officers participated with generous gifts, food and entertainment for a successful event for all involved.
About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of two Robberies that have occurred in the month of January. In both incidents, the offender or offenders approached on bicycles. In one incident, two offenders grabbed the victim’s purse and fled on bicycles. In the other incident, the offender displayed a knife, grabbed the victim’s purse and fled on a bicycle.
About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to residents in the 015th district of an increase in Robberies involving a black colored SUV (possibly a black Chevy Trailblazer or black GMC Envoy) . In multiple instances armed offenders exits out of a black Sports Utility Vehicle approach the victim and rob them of their property.
About This Crime
On January 1, 2015, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Aimer Robledo was killed while riding his bicycle west on Division, when he was struck by a red SUV at 4606 W. Division. The wanted vehicle was traveling west on Division just prior to the hit/run incident and then continued west on Division towards Cicero Ave.
The above offender was arrested and charged with the above offenses after he intentionally struck a Chicago Police Officer with a stolen vehicle on January 1, 2015, at approximately 2:35 pm on the 6000 block of South Wolcott. Englewood (007th) District officers observed two male offenders in a stolen van and activated their emergency equipment to curb the vehicle. The offender attempted to flee in the vehicle and struck a squad car. An officer then exited his vehicle, and during this time, the offender accelerated and intentionally struck the officer with the van. The offenders fled on foot and after a short foot chase the above offender was apprehended and taken into custody. The officer was transported to Little Company of Mary hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second offender is still being sought in connection to this incident.

This alert gives notice to commercial delivery drivers in the 015th district of an increase in robberies. Unknown offenders approach commercial delivery drivers (UPS, FedEx) display a gun and rob the driver of his personal property and or the vehicles that they are driving.

The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the 5th (Calumet) District. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015 and end at 3 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015.
