11 Feb 18 Armed Robberies 25th District (P18-N-051)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 25th District (Grand Central), specifically residents living on beat 2533 of recent Armed Robberies. In these Armed Robberies an unknown offender approached the victim, and while armed with a firearm the offender announced a robbery. The offender proceeded to rob the victim of belongings.

08 Feb 18-Community Alert-11th District Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault Child

Between September 24, 2017 and October 07, 2017 at approximately 4:00pm, an

unknown masked male offender grabbed a 12 year old female from behind as she

exited a neighborhood convenience store. The offender pulled her into the alley on the

700 block of N. Lawndale. He sexually assaulted her for 20 minutes and then fled

toward Ridgeway.

08 FEB 18- Community Alert-002nd District Robberies P18-1-001CA(A)
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 002nd District (Wentworth) of robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of December. In these incidents, offender(s) approached the victim(s) and demanded their property by using physical force. The offender then fled the area in a vehicle.  The vehicle was described as a green four door sedan of/ dark colored SUV, or a white vehicle, late model black Jeep Cherokee, grey Infiniti.

08 Feb 18 Thefts 1st District (P18-1-046)
This alert gives notice to citizens frequenting the 1st (Central) District of robbery related incidents during the month of January. The offenders are approaching students and staff in the University complex, who are seated at desks or tables, under the guise that the offenders are soliciting donations to their basketball program.  The offenders place a flier or newspaper atop the victim’s unattended cell phone.  At the conclusion of the interaction, the offenders retrieve the flier or newspaper, along with the victim’s cell phone, from the table and leave the complex. These incidents have occurred during the daytime and afternoon hours in the general geographical locations listed below:
