About the Crime:
This alert gives notice of recent Thefts of Catalytic Converters that have occurred within the boundaries of the 4th District (South Chicago). In these incidents, the unknown offender(s) cut the catalytic converters off of victims’ vehicles sometime during the night.
Incident times and locations:
- 13254 S. Houston Ave. 12 August 2017 at 3:00pm-04:20am.
- 10342 S. Avenue H, 14 August 2017 at 6:15pm-06:00am.
- 8630 S. Colfax Ave 15 August 2017, 01:30am-08:00am.
- 8800 S. Oglesby, 14 August, 9:30pm.
