29 July 17 Fatal Hit and Run JA-284494On May 30, 2017 at 2:59 a.m., a male pedestrian was fatally struck in the area of 2308 W. Garfield Blvd. The Chicago Police Department needs the help of the community to solve this Hit and Run. The unknown offending vehicle was traveling west on Garfield Blvd and struck the victim in the cross walk, at Oakley Avenue and Garfield Blvd, and fled the scene without stopping. The offending vehicle is believed to have damage to the front bumper, hood and possibly the front windshield.
