19 May 19 - Community Alert for Attempt Aggravated Arson (19th District)
The Arson Unit is seeking to identify the below pictured subject in relation to an Attempt Aggravated Arson incident of a place of worship.  This incident occurred at two adjacent locations both in the 500 block of W. Melrose on May 19, 2019 at approximately 12:34 a.m.  The offender used a Molotov at both locations but resulted in no fire damage and no injuries were reported.

19 May 19 - Wanted for Attempt Child Luring 19th Dist
On May 15, 2019, at approximately 7:15 a.m., a male juvenile was running eastbound on the 1000 Block of West Wolfram St.  A vehicle stopped next to him and a male subject motioned for the male juvenile to come towards him.  The male juvenile continued on his way and heard multiple horn sounds from the vehicle.  The male juvenile turned around and observed the male had exited the vehicle.

11 May 19 - Community Alert - 19th District Burglary - 19-N-127 (CA)
This alert gives notice to the residents in the 19th District of two recent burglaries. In burglaries to multiunit buildings. The offender makes unlawful entry through front or side doors during the evening and overnight hours. Once inside, the offender removes property from storage areas before fleeing.

29 Apr 19 - Business Alert - 19th District Burglary - 19-N-114(BA)
This alert gives notice to businesses in the 19th District of four recent commercial burglaries. In those burglaries, the offenders entered into the businesses in the early morning hours through rear doors which were left unsecure or forced open. Once inside, the offenders removed property from within before fleeing.

23 April 19-Community Alert-19th District Residential Burglaries
This alert gives notice to the residents in the 19th District of five recent residential burglaries. In those burglaries, the offender entered into the residences through unlocked front or rear doors during the day, evening and overnight hours. Once inside, the offender removes property from within the home before fleeing.

03 APR 19 -Community Alert-Public Indecency 19th District (Town Hall) JC210398 NP

On April 3, 2019 at approximately 4:00 p.m. the mother of the victim was sitting in her vehicle, waiting to pick up her children from School located in the 3700 block N. Oakley Ave. when she observed an African American male sitting in his vehicle watching the children being dismissed from school while touching himself inappropriately.  After a period of time the offender drove his car off northbound on Oakley Ave.
