15 Jun 18-Community Alert-008th District Wanted for Criminal Sexual Abuse
This alert gives notice to residents of the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of an Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse that occurred on the public way of the 8100 block of South Pulaski Rd on the date of May 23, 2018 at approximately 7:45 p.m. A female adult was leaving a nearby store when an unknown male approached her, restrained her with his arms and began to sexually abuse her.
11 Jun 18 Community Alert 8th District Wanted for Kidnapping JB302761
It has been reported that on June 11, 2018, between approximately 3:20 and 4:30 pm, an 11 year old female was walking home from school when an unknown male exited his vehicle, picked her up, and placed her into his vehicle. The man drove around in his vehicle for approximately one hour before the 11 year old female was able to exit the vehicle and make good on her escape without being harmed. This incident occurred in the 3600 block of West 55th St.
17 Apr 2018 008th Dist Community Alert
On Monday, April 16th, 2018, at approximately 5:00 p.m., in the 3500 block of West 80th Place, an unknown male approached the victim from behind while she was partially inside her vehicle and attempted to sexually assault her. The offender fled east bound following the attempted assault.

This alert gives notice to the residents in the 8th District (Chicago Lawn) of robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of March. In these incidents, the offenders approached the victims and announced a robbery. Incident times and locations are listed below:
16 mar 18 Comm Alert Att Child Luring 008th District JB186962
On Thursday, March 15, 2018, between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm, in the 6500 block of South Lawndale, an unknown male Hispanic offender driving a silver or gray minivan attempted to lure a 16 year old female. The offender approached her from behind as she walked home from school and stated “Vena qui”, which is Spanish for “come here”. When the 16 year old female ignored him, the unknown male exited the van and grabbed her by the arm. The 16 year old pulled away and fled home.
16 MAR 18- 008th District Community Alert- JB159415P
On Tuesday February 20th 2018, at approximately 4:00 p.m., in the 3800 block of West 58th Street, an unknown offender attempted to lure a 15 year old female as she was walking down the sidewalk. The offender engaged the victim in conversation and exposed himself to the victim while asking her to get into his car. The victim immediately walked away from the vehicle and went home. The driver fled the scene eastbound on 58th Street.
