About This Crime
On April 3, 2017, at approximately 8:20 p.m. on the 2600 block of S. Wentworth Avenue, an unknown male offender grabbed the 63-year-old female victim from behind, pulled the victim’s pants down and groped her.

Unknown offenders using a black vehicle, possibly a Chrysler Sebring, are approaching drivers of vehicles stopped in traffic, displaying handguns and ordering drivers from their cars.

02 Apr 17 JA-180407 Fatal Crash Community AlertAfter flashing gang signs and getting into a verbal altercation with the victims at a gas station located at 2801 W. 59th Street, the above vehicle chased the victims’ vehicle to 4411 W. 59th Street. At that location, the victims’ vehicle crashed into multiple parked vehicles and the victims suffered serious personal injuries. One of the victims died from the injuries. The crash occurred on March 9, 2017 at 1:44 A.M., The above vehicle fled westbound on 59th Street.
CPD COMMUNITY ALERT- Seeking to Identify Vehicular Hijacking 9th District
This alert gives notice to residents of the 009th District (Deering) of a Robbery/Vehicular Hijacking incident that occurred on the 1700 block of West 47th St. on March 23, 2017 at approximately 4:00 p.m. A 32-year-old female exited her vehicle and entered into a retail establishment with her vehicle running while still occupied by a 60-year-old female and a 1-year-old female. An unknown male offender entered into the driver’s seat of the vehicle and drove away northbound on Hermitage. After a brief struggle, both victims were able to escape the vehicle on the 4600 block of S. Hermitage. The offender then fled eastbound on 46th St. No injuries were reported in this incident.
