25 year old Michael Debrown, of Roselle, Illinois, was arrested and charged for being in possession of an explosive device, which was discovered inside a residence on the 3500 block of West Flournoy Ave. at approx. 1:15 a.m. on February 2, 2017.

On October 24, 2016 at approximately 4:00 a.m., the female, 37, was walking to the blue-line train stop through a parking garage located in the 8400 block of W. Bryn Mawr Avenue. As the she was walking, she noticed a male subject inside the parking garage. The male approached the female from behind and knocked her to the ground. The offender demanded the victim remove her clothing. The victim struggled with the offender and was able flee to safety. The offender fled southbound from the parking lot. On Monday, October 3, 2016, at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 31st St., two unknown offenders attempted to lure a (10-year-old) male. The victim was walking to school when he noticed a white van with a ladder on top and tinted windows following him. The victim observed two male black offenders inside the van. The passenger, wearing a yellow hat and white t-shirt exited the van and waived his hands, motioning to the victim to get inside the van. For More Information Click Here
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 1st (Central) District of robbery related incidents during the month of October. Offenders are demanding property from female citizens walking on the public way. One female offender strikes the victims in the head, followed by other male and female offenders striking and kicking the lone victims.
