On May 26, 2015, at approximately 9:30 pm, pictured offenders entered the 7-11 grocery store located in the 100 block of N. Michigan Ave. The victim confronted the female offender who was observed by victim leaving the store with stolen merchandise. This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of burglary incidents which have occurred during the month of June. In these incidents, offender(s) gain entry into a residence through a door or window and take property from therein. These incidents have occurred in the geographical locations listed below:

2500 Block of W. Lithuanian Plaza Ave on June 11, 2015 at approximately 4:00 A.M.
6900 Block of S. Artesian Ave on June 11, 2015 at approximately 9:50 P.M.
2500 Block of W. Lithuanian Plaza Ave on June 17, 2015 at approximately 4:30 P.M.
Three male juveniles were arrested after they were identified as the persons responsible for fatally shooting a 15 year old boy. The incident occurred in the 4100 block of W. Cullerton St., on June 17, 2015 at approximately 10:00 p.m. Three male juveniles approached a 15 year old boy and announced a robbery. The 15 year old turned to flee when he was shot in the back. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced. The juveniles were charged accordingly as adults. No further information is available at this time.

About the crime:
On June 18, 2015 at approximately 8:00 AM, at 60th and Rhodes, a 14 year old female was walking to school when an unknown male and unknown female attempted to lure her into their vehicle. They pulled alongside the female and asked her if she wanted a ride. She refused and immediately informed a school crossing guard. The offenders fled when they observed the victim approached the crossing guard.

This alert gives notice to the businesses in the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of armed robberies of gas stations during the late evening and early morning hours. The offender enters the gas station, produces a handgun and then demands money.
There have been two incidents that have occurred since May 26, 2015. These incidents have taken place on beat’s 1624 and 1634.
• 5200 block of W. Addison on May 26, 2015 at 1:20 AM
• 4000 block of N. Laramie on May 28, 2015 at 10:11 PM
The offender described as a Male, 20-30 years old, 5’07”- 5’08”, 125-170 lbs. Offender was wearing a mask covering his face, with a hooded sweatshirt or jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes and gloves.
Burglaries are occurring in District 019 where offender(s) enter school buildings after hours, causing damage and taking electronic items.
• 2500 block of W. Addison on 16 May 2015 between the hours of 1:30 pm and 10:00 pm.
• 4400 block of N. Magnolia from 22-26 May 2015 between 3:30 pm and 7:15 am.
