This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of October in the vicinity of Cottage Grove Avenue to Greenwood Avenue and 61st Street to 67th Street. In these incidents, the offender(s) approaches the victims, displays a handgun and announces a robbery. The offender(s) flees with the victims personal

Multiple offenders approach lone subjects on the street or sitting in their vehicles, display a Chrome/Silver handgun and demand the victim’s property or vehicle. Offenders then flee the area on foot or in one incident the victim’s vehicle. For More Information Click Here

In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences, through doors and windows. The offenders have taken electronics, jewelry, cash, and other miscellaneous items. This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of burglary incidents which occurred during the month of October. In these incidents, offender(s) gained entry into the garage through a door and removed property from therein.

This alert gives notice of recent Robberies that have occurred in the 011th District on CTA trains and at CTA train stations. In three of the incidents, the victims were riding on the train and the offenders struck the victims with fists and took property from their pockets. In the other incident, the offenders grabbed the victim on the CTA platform and took property from his pockets.
