12 DEC 18- Community Alert 019th District Robberies P18-N-313(CA)
This alert gives notice to residents of recent robberies that have occurred within the boundaries of the 019th District. In these incidents, the offender(s) approached the victim from behind and/or engaged them in conversation and battered them. The offenders then took the victim’s property. In some incidents the offender(s) were armed with a handgun.
12 DEC 18- Community Alert 009th District Burglaries (P18-1-356CA)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 009th District (Deering) of burglary incidents which have occurred during the month of December. In these incidents, offender(s) gained entry into residences and take property from therein. These incidents have occurred at various hours of the day in the general geographical locations listed below:
12 DEC 18- 016th District Motor Vechile Theft Community Alert (CA-P18-N-311)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several Motor Vehicle Thefts that have occurred. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) took the victim’s vehicles which were legally parked on the street, in some incidents the victim’s left the cars running to warm up.
11 DEC 18- Community Alert 017th District Burglaries P18-N-310CA
This alert gives notice of recent related burglaries that have occurred within the 017th District (Albany Park). In these incidents, the offender(s) stated to the victims that they were there to do repairs at the building. While the victim(s) escorted one offender to look at what needed to be repaired, the other offender(s) went into various rooms in the residence and took the victim’s personal property.
11 DEC 18- 019th District Community Alert Garage Burglaries P18-N-309(CA)
This alert gives notice of recent Garage Burglaries that have occurred within the 019th District. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gained access to residential garages that were left unsecured. Once inside the garages the unknown offender(s) took property from inside and/or rummaged through the victim’s vehicle for personal property.
11 DEC 18- 016th District Community Alert Wheel Rim Thefts (P18-N-308)
This alert gives notice of recent thefts of rims and/or tires that have occurred in the 016th District. In these incidents, the offender(s) committed these acts while the vehicles were parked on streets during overnight hours. In most incidents the victim’s vehicles were left resting on cinder blocks or paver blocks.
10 Dec 18 – Business Alert -Burglaries 1st District Central P18-1-355 NP
This alert gives notice to retail stores operating in the 1st District (Central) of burglary related incidents that have occurred during the month of December. The offender forced his way into a retail store by breaching the revolving door. Once inside, the offender took as many articles of clothing as he was able to carry.
09 Dec 18 Business Alert 10th District Robberies
This alert gives notice to businesses in the 010th District (Ogden) of robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of December. In these incidents, the offenders enter a business, display or imply a handgun and demand/take property from the victim/business by force.
These incidents have occurred in the geographical locations listed below.
08-Dec-18 Wanted for Attempt Kidnapping 6th District (Gresham) NPThis alert gives notice to a recent Attempt Kidnapping that occurred in the 8700 block of S. Princeton Ave. within the boundaries of the 6th District (Gresham) on Beat 634. In this incident, the juvenile victim was retrieving a newspaper, near his front door, when the offender approached from behind, put a hand over the victim’s mouth, and stated “You’re coming with me”. The victim was able to fend off the aggressor who then fled on foot.
