This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several residential burglaries that have occurred in the month of October. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences, through the front or rear doors and also windows. The offenders have taken electronics, jewelry, cash, and other
miscellaneous items.
A lone male offender pries open the door to an apartment building’s vestibule and steals the delivered packages that have been left there.

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 014th District (Shakespeare) of two robbery incidents that occurred recently.
In the first incident male black and female black offenders approached a female victim and robbed her at gunpoint. Offenders then took her in their vehicle to various locations to withdraw money from ATMs. In the second incident offenders robbed the female victim and attempted to take her into their car without success.
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in District 019 (Town Hall) of recent robberies that occurred on October 19th and 24th. In these incidents, the offenders approached the victims on the street while displaying or implying a handgun.
On October 20, 2015 at approximately 6:00 p.m., a 14 year old female was walking home in the 11300 Block of State Street when she was approached by three unknown male offenders. Two of the offenders distracted the victim while the third offender approached the victim from behind and struck the victim in the head with a hard object. The victim was taken to a nearby abandoned house where she was sexually assaulted.
On October 22, 2015 at approximately 6:30 p.m. on the 3600 block of South King Drive an unknown male black subject grabbed a female juvenile and attempted to put her in his vehicle at the bus stop. The female victim was grabbed by the neck and pushed toward the car, she refused to get into the vehicle and an unknown male citizen intervened preventing the incident. The offender then fled southbound on King Drive from 36th Street in a grey 4 door vehicle.

This alert gives notice to citizens of the 007th District (Englewood) of three strong armed robberies reported on Beats 711 and 723, around the vicinity of 63rd Street and Halsted Street. The offender punches and or pushes the female or younger male victims to the ground taking various properties such as purses, phones and money.
