Community Alert – Wanted for Criminal Sexual Abuse
Please see the attached Community Alert that gives notice to residents of the 019th and 20th Districts of Criminal Sexual Abuse incidents that occurred on the 26th and 27th of July.
DUI STRIKE FORCE PATROL – TOWN HALL (19TH) DISTRICT
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Town Hall (19th) District this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1st, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 2th, 2015.
Southside Man Charged in Commercial Building Fire
Eric HOWARD was positively identified as the person who was observed entering a secured building’s stairway at 3200 N. Sheffield on July 28th at 11:55 am, then exiting after a fire occurred. HOWARD admitted that he used a lighter to ignite carpeting in the stairwell and to ignite a bag inside a commercial dumpster at the same location. 30Jul15 Charges for Eric Howard _Arson_
Community Alert – Robberies
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in District 019 of recent robberies that
occurred on July 19th, 20th, and 25th. In these incidents, offenders approached the
victims on the street and used force to rob them. In two of the incidents, the
offenders engaged the victims in conversation and then committed the robberies.
Business Alert-Armed Robberies-Convenience Stores 014, 017, 018 & 019th Districts
This alert gives notice to businesses operating in the 014th, 017th, 018th and 019th districts, of Armed Robberies of a small retail stores in those districts. Anywhere from one to three offenders enter the small retail stores and announce a robbery while armed with
handguns.
Community Alert – Garage Burglaries
Burglaries have occurred in District 19 where offender(s) either forced entry or used unlocked doors to gain access to garages and steal bicycles.
Business Alert – Commercial Burglaries
There have been recent overnight burglaries to retail stores in District 019. In each of these cases, an unknown offender shattered the front glass door/window of a business to make entry.
Community Alert – Robberies
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in District 019 of recent robberies that
occurred on July 8th and July 10th. In these incidents, the offenders approached the
victims from behind and used force to rob them.
Community Alert – Robberies
Two recent Robberies have occurred in which the offenders rob a victim after
answering an advertisement placed on Craig’s List. In both cases, the victim had
placed an I-Phone or Apple Watch for sale on Craig’s List. The offenders made
contact with the victim and a meeting was arranged. When the offenders meet with
the victim, the offenders battered the victim with their fists and took property from the
victim.
