07 Apr 19- Business Alert-1st, 11th, 15th and 25th District-Robberies-19-CWP-009 NP

This alert gives notice of commercial burglaries to restaurants, convenience stores, and storage facilities. The method of entry has varied based on the structure. The offender made access through roof vents at single story structures and pried/broke doors and windows on larger commercial buildings. Once inside, the offender demolished walls to gain access to registers and offices when necessary. The registers were pried open and an unknown amount of US currency was taken, along with other property.

5 Apr 19 - Community Alert CSA Robbery 1st and 12th District
This alert gives notice in the 001st & 012th Districts of robbery and criminal sexual abuse incidents which have occurred during the month of March on CTA property (Beats 113 & 1214).  In the 001st District incident, the offenders and victim were at the Orange Line stop when the offenders followed the victim onto the elevator.  After denying the offenders requests for money, the offenders began kissing the victim against her will and one offender made contact with the victim’s genital area.  The offenders fled the scene.  In the 012th District incident, an offender and two victims were on the Green Line train when the offender requested food.  After giving the offender food, he touched the victim’s genital area, took the victim’s cell phone, and fled the train.

03 Feb 19 - Business Alert - Bank Robberies 1st District (Central) - P19-1-026BA -NP

This alert gives notice to citizens and businesses operating in the 1st District (Central) of bank robbery related incidents that occurred during the month of January. In these incidents, the offender entered bank lobbies and observed operations, then exited the bank. He returned at a later time, approached the bank tellers and passed them a deposit slip. The slip contained a handwritten note relating that he is conducting a “hold up”, that he has a gun and that he demands money. Upon receiving money from the teller, the offender fled on foot to various vehicles.

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 001st (Central) District of robbery related incidents during the month of January. Female victims are walking or standing on the public way, when numerous offenders are grabbing the victim’s cell phones or purses and fleeing on foot.  These offenders have struck victims with their fists, knocked victims to the ground, and kicked victims.17 Jan 19 - Community Alert - 1st District Robbery-P18-1-349ACA

01-Jan-19 Business Alert - Burglaries 1st District (Central) P18-1-355A --NP

This alert gives notice to retail stores operating in the 1st District (Central) of burglary related incidents that have occurred during the month of December and January. The offender forced his way into a retail store by breaching the revolving door.  Once inside, the offender took as many articles of clothing as he can carry.  An additional offender entered the store through the broken glass door to commit a theft, after the original offender departed.

27 DEC 19- Community Alert- Attempt Child Luring 001st District JB568784

On Thursday, December 27, 2018 at approximately 8:32 a.m., in the 1900 block of South Archer Ave., an offender driving a 4-door Green Lexus attempted to lure a 14-year-old female. The offender approached the victim, engaged the victim in conversation and then offered her money. The 14-year-old victim ignored him and the unknown male drove Eastbound on Archer Ave. from Dearborn St.
