This alert gives notice of recent Thefts of Catalytic Converters that have occurred within the Mount Greenwood Area of the 22nd District. In these incidents, the unknown offender(s) drive up in a vehicle, exit, and cut the catalytic converters off of victims’ vehicles sometime during the late night or early morning. In one instance captured on surveillance video, the offender(s) are armed with handguns.

This alert gives notice of recent Church burglaries in the Morgan Park neighborhood. These incidents occurred in the vicinity of the 1600-1700 block of South Monterey. The offender(s) made forced entry into the unoccupied churches and stole items from within.
CPD Business Alert-Armed Robberies 22nd District (Morgan Park)
This alert gives notice of recent armed robberies in the Washington Heights and Auburn Gresham neighborhood. The victims are locksmiths who responded to a service request to reprogram vehicle keys. Once on scene, armed offenders approached the victims and demanded vehicle reprogramming devices and key fobs. These incidents occurred in the early afternoon hours.

This alert gives notice of recent armed robberies in the Washington Heights neighborhood. The armed offender approached the victims on foot or a bicycle and announced a robbery. These incidents occurred during the overnight and early morning hours.
