Shikita Woods was arrested and charged with the above offenses in connection to the death of a 53-year-old male victim on April 12, 2015, at approximately 1:10 pm on the 5500 block of S. State Street. During a domestic altercation with her husband, Woods entered her vehicle and intentionally struck a vehicle her husband was a passenger in causing the vehicle to strike a light pole and then the victim, who was standing on the sidewalk. The victim was transported to Stroger hospital where he was later pronounced. Woods husband and the driver of their vehicle were transported to Mercy hospital and were listed in stable condition. About the Crime:
On March 13th, 2015, at approximately 3:00 am in the 5400 block of South Hyde Park Blvd, the above subject, Ross Jacobs attacked and stabbed his 27 year old male roommate multiple times, causing severe injuries. Ross Jacobs then fled from the apartment, direction of flight unknown.
