Phakthra Savath was arrested after he was identified as the person who shot a 21 year old man in the 4400 block of N. Kedzie Ave., on July 20, 2015 at approximately 1:10 a.m. The 21 year old man sustained gunshot wounds to the right thigh and left ankle. He was taken for treatment to Christ Hospital in fair condition. Savath was arrested and charged accordingly. No further information is available at this time.

Noel Fulgencio was positively identified as the person who removed a suitcase from the O’Hare baggage claim on July 28, 2015, at approximately 9:00 a.m. The suitcase contained human hair wigs for cancer patients estimated to be valued at over $90,000.  Fulgencio was located on the 3000 block of W. Lawrence on July 31, 2015, at approximately 2:15 p.m. where he was placed in custody. During the course of the investigation, officers were able to locate and recover the suitcase and its contents. Fulgencio was charged accordingly.

Eric HOWARD was positively identified as the person who was observed entering a secured building’s stairway at 3200 N. Sheffield on July 28th at 11:55 am, then exiting after a fire occurred. HOWARD admitted that he used a lighter to ignite carpeting in the stairwell and to ignite a bag inside a commercial dumpster at the same location.   30Jul15 Charges for Eric Howard _Arson_

Rasheed Martin, 20 was arrested in Wisconsin and extradited to Chicago after he was identified as the man who shot two people on July 4, 2015 at approximately 11:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of N. Harding. The victims were standing on the sidewalk when Martin fired shots. A 26 year old female was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition with a gunshot wound to the chest. A 7 year old male was shot in the chest and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced. Martin was charged accordingly. No further information is available at this time.

This alert gives notice to business residing in the 015th District (Austin) of an increase in robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of July. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) call in a delivery order. Upon the items being delivered, offenders at gunpoint rob the delivery drivers of their property.
