CPD COMMUNITY ALERT- Attempt Child Luring 008th District
On May 12, 2016 between approximately 6:30 A.M. and 8:00 A.M., on the 7800 block of S. Kedzie Ave, an unknown male on foot attempted to lure an adolescent female as she walked to school. When ignored, the offender attempted to grab the victim at which time she ran to a nearby alley. The victim was able to make it safely to school where she alerted her mother of what occurred.

CPD COMMUNITY ALERT- Criminal Sexual Abuse 014th District
On May 12, 2016 at approximately 7:30 AM, a 17 year old female was walking eastbound on the 2400 block of West Cortland, when she was approached by the below described offender. The offender attempted to engage the victim in conversation and as she continued to walk the offender grabbed the victim’s buttocks from behind. The victim turned to face the offender and observed him raise his jacket and expose his genitals to her. The offender then fled westbound on Cortland.

This alert gives notice to citizens in the 012th District of robbery related incidents that have occurred in the 12th District on Beats 1231 and 1215. In these incidents, two male black offenders approached and robbed the victim of phones and money by force before fleeing on foot.
