News Release – Woman Charged in Fatal Kenwood Stabbing
Sherry L. Robinson, 50, was arrested and charged in connection to a domestic related murder that occurred at approx. 12:30 am, May 9th, 2016 on the 4500 block of South Drexel Blvd.
CPD Community Alert – Criminal Sexual Abuse 16th District (Jefferson Park)
On May 5, 2016 at approximately 5:00 p.m., a 15-year-old female was walking eastbound in the 5500 block of W. Balmoral Avenue, when she was approached from behind by an unknown male. The male subject placed his hand over the victim’s mouth and forced her toward the alley. The offender then grabbed the victim’s breasts and groin area. The victim was able to break free and flee from the offender. The offender’s direction of flight is unknown.
North Side Man Charged in Stabbing
Christopher Holmes was arrested and charged after being positively identified as the person who stabbed a 28-year-old man on May 9, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 500 block of W. Aldine Avenue. For more information, click here.
