CPD Community Alert – Wanted for Armed Robbery on the CTA Green Line (P16-1-192CA)
On August 1st, 2016, at approximately 4:11 pm, the pictured offender sat next to a male victim on board a CTA Green Line train, pointed a handgun at him and demanded his phone. The victim complied and the offender fled off the train at the 63rd )Street platform.
CPD Community Alert – Burglaries in the 8th District – Bt. 832 (P16-1-191CA)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of burglary incidents which have occurred during the months of July & August. In these incidents, offender(s) gain entry through a rear window and take property from therein.
CPD COMMUNITY ALERT- Robberies 009th District
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 009th District/Chinatown (Deering) of Robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of July. In these incidents, a male black offender(s) approached the victim(s) and demanded their property.
Three Charged with Concealment of Death In Marquette Park
Garcia, C. Camerena and I. Camarena were detained after officers responding to a call of arson in progress arrived on scene and observed the three offenders fleeing from the back of the residences on the 1400 block of W. Marquette Rd. on August 2, 2016 at approximately 9:25 pm. Further investigation revealed an unconscious child wrapped in a burnt blanket in the basement of the building. The male child was pronounced on scene. An odor of lighter fluid could be smelled by officers emanating from the three offenders. Garcia, C. Camarena and I. Camarena were placed into custody and charged accordingly. Area South Detectives are awaiting further results from the Medical Examiner for additional possible charges. CPD News Release- DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Gresham (6th) District
On Saturday night, 6 August 2016, the Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the 006th District. The Patrol will commence on Saturday night, 6 August 2016 at 1900 hours and end Sunday at 0300 hours, 7 August 2016.

The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a Roadside Safety Check in the 008th District at 7055 W. Archer Ave. The Roadside Safety Check will begin at 1900 hours on Friday night, 5 August 2016 and end at 0300 hours on Saturday, 6 August 2016.
