About the Crime(s):
Robberies and Thefts have occurred in the 11th District whereby an offender entered
a restaurant (Dunkin’ Donuts), and indicated that he had a gun and robbed the store
of USC. The Offender then fled on foot from the scene. Incident times and locations
are listed below:
• 4700 block of W. Lake St. on 17 April of 2017 at 05:35am.
• 4700 block of W. Lake St. on 18 April of 2017 at 06:32pm.
About the Offender(s):
• Male/Black about 42 years old, about 6’01 and 190-260lbs. Wearing a dark
colored baseball cap, dark colored hooded sweatshirt with black jeans

• Report any suspicious people or activity in the area
• Be aware of the situation and alert neighboring businesses in the area about
these crimes
• Pay special attention to any subjects loitering in the area of your business

About the Crime:
This alert gives notice of recent Armed Robberies and Vehicle Hijackings that
occurred in the 11th and 15th Districts. In each incident, the offenders approached the
victims from a white vehicle, displayed handguns with extended clips and demanded
property and vehicle from the victims. Incident times and locations are listed below:
• 4300 Block of West Fifth Avenue on April 8, 2017 at 5:00am.
• 2400 Block of West Taylor on 13 April, 2017 at 07:00am.
• 4700 Block of West Arthington Avenue on April 15, 2017 at 3:00am.
• 4700 Block of West Polk Avenue on April 15, 2017 at 6:20am.
• 1100 Block of South Cicero Avenue on April 16, 2017 at 6:45pm.

• #1 Male black, 20 to 30 years-old, 5’08-6’02, 140-180 pounds, short hair
• #2 Male black, 20 to 30 years-old, ~5’07, ~150 pounds, with braids

The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol in the Albany Park (17th) District this weekend. The DUI Saturation Patrol will commence at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 and end at 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol in the 8th (Chicago Lawn) District this weekend. The DUI Saturation Patrol will commence at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 and end at 3 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017.

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 9th District (Deering) of burglary incidents that occurred during the month of April. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) made forced entries into residences and took property from therein.

Southwest Side Man Charged in Fatal Traffic Crash
Giovanni Roman was placed in custody after an investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol/narcotics while driving a 2001 Acura that crashed into a truck on April13, 2017 in the 6300 block of S. Harlem Avenue at approximately 4:04 a.m., causing the death of a 26-year-old male passenger and severely injuring a 23-year-old female passenger. Roman was arrested and charged accordingly. CPD COMMUNITY ALERT – Wanted for Agg Crim Sex Abuse (JA226451) 025th Dist
On Saturday, April 15, 2017, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 6-year-old female was in a grocery store located on the 3900 block of W. Diversey Ave., when a male White Hispanic approached her, motioned her over to him and kissed her on her cheek.
