07 Feb 19 - Community Alert- Aggravated Battery 15th District (Austin) NP JC142609

On February 6, 2019 at approximately 4:15 p.m., a 48-year-old man was sitting on a South Bound Cicero Ave. CTA bus located in the 300 block of North Cicero Ave. While the man was sitting toward the rear of the bus, the offender, who was sitting next to the victim, fell asleep on the victim. The man then pushed the offender off and the offender then brandished a knife and cut the victim. The victim sustained a cut in the face. The victim, while attempting to defend himself grabbed the knife and was cut on his hand. The offender then fled the bus and boarded a following CTA bus headed southbound on Cicero Ave.

07 Feb 19 - Community Alert 10th District Burglary
This alert gives notice in the 010th District (Ogden) of burglary related incidents which have occurred during the months of January/February.  In these incidents offenders makes unlawful entry to apartment through rear door and take property from within.  These incidents have occurred in the geographical locations listed below.

06 Feb 19- Community Alert- Residential Burglaries 16th District (Jefferson Park) P19-N-037 CA -NP
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several residential and apartment burglaries that occurred in the months of January and February. In these incidents, an unknown offender(s) entered the apartments and residences, through front or rear doors, and took property from within.

06 Feb 19- Community Alert- Robbery - Strong Arm Robbery Offender CTA Brown Line NP

Area Central Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the above suspect responsible for a Strong Arm Robbery which occurred on February 4, 2019 at approximately 9:06 p.m. on the CTA Brown line station located at 1536 N. Sedgwick. The victim while standing on the platform was approached by above suspect who forcefully took the victim’s cell phone from her hand, fleeing the area.

06 Feb 19- Community Alert- Robbery - Motor Vehicle Thefts 16th District (Jefferson Park) P19-N-038(CA) NP

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several Motor Vehicle Thefts that have occurred on Beat 1634, within the boundaries of Cicero to Long and Belmont to Irving Park. In these incidents, an unknown offender(s) stole vehicles by unknown means which were legally parked on the street. In some incidents, the owners left the cars running to warm up.

05 Feb 19- Community Alert- Robbery - CTA pink line ashland
Area Central Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the above suspect responsible for two Strong Arm Robberies which occurred on January 17, 2019 at approximately 4:10 p.m. and on January 29, 2019 at approximately 1:30 pm on the CTA Pink line train located at 1601 S. Lake St. The victim’s while seated on the train were approached by above suspect who took the victims’ cell phones, then fled the train.

05 FEB 19- Community Alert- 017th District- Robberies (p19-n-035ca)
This alert gives notice of recent related robberies that have occurred within the 017th District (Albany Park). In both of these incidents offender(s) approached the victims and demanded property from them. In these incidents, the offender(s) implied that they had a handgun or they struck the victim(s) and took their property.

05 FEB 19- Community Alert 003rd District- Robberies P19-1-027CA
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 003rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of January and February. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) approached the victims on the sidewalk, physically attacked them, and took the victim’s property before fleeing the area on foot.

05 Feb 19 - 2nd District Burglaries Community Alert
This alert gives notice to residents of the 002nd (Wentworth) District of burglary related incidents reported in the month of January.  In each incident, the offender(s) made entry into the victim’s apartments either via the front or rear door. Property, predominantly in the form of televisions, computers, and jewelry was taken.
