CPD COMMUNITY ALERT- Robbery 002nd District
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 002nd District (Wentworth) of robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of November. In these incidents, the offender approached the victim on the street or sidewalk, then demanded and took property from the victims, prior to fleeing the area. In one instance, the offender threatened to shoot the victim, but did not display a gun.
Strategic Anti-Violence Mission Results in Arrest of One of the 010th District’s Most Dangerous Offenders
Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of 24th and Rockwell on November 12, 2016 at approximately 1 a.m. Officers observed a car speeding away from the scene. Officers curbed the offender’s vehicle while assisting units located a victim. The victim stated he was shot at while parking his vehicle. The victim did not sustain any injuries and was able to positively identify the offender.

CPD Community Alert – Wanted for Attempt Luring 9th District (Deering)
On Monday, October 3, 2016, at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 31st St., two unknown offenders attempted to lure a (10-year-old) male. The victim was walking to school when he noticed a white van with a ladder on top and tinted windows following him. The victim observed two male black offenders inside the van. The passenger, wearing a yellow hat and white t-shirt exited the van and waived his hands, motioning to the victim to get inside the van. For More Information Click Here
CPD Community Alert – Robbery 1st District (Central)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 1st (Central) District of robbery related incidents during the month of October. Offenders are demanding property from female citizens walking on the public way. One female offender strikes the victims in the head, followed by other male and female offenders striking and kicking the lone victims. Offenders have taken cell phones and backpacks containing computer tablets by force from the victims. Offenders then flee on foot. For More Information Click Here
