This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of residential burglaries that have occurred in the month of April. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences, through windows or doors, and have taken electronics, jewelry, cash, and other miscellaneous items.
Wanted for Burglary/Credit Card Fraud 19th District (Town Hall)
About the crime:
On April 1, 2015, two female subjects entered Audubon School, located at 3500 N. Hoyne Ave., under the pretense of enrolling a child. These two subjects were able to gain access to two teachers’ classrooms and take their wallets. The subjects proceeded to a Jewel grocery store located at 2940 N. Ashland and purchased $145 worth of items. The subjects continued their shopping spree with these stolen cards at other locations.

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 015th District (Austin) of an increase in Burglary related incidents that have occurred during the month of March and April.
Thefts of Cell Phones 011th District (Harrison) CTA Green Line Train
About the crime:
This alert addresses two incidents in which victims had their cell phones stolen on the CTA Green Line train. Both victims were seated near the doors and as the train approached the Lake and Pulaski stop, an offender(s) grabbed the phones from their hands and fled out the train doors.
Community Alert for Armed Robberies in the 11th (Harrison) District
This alert addresses Armed Robberies that have occurred in the 011th District. In both robberies, the victims are robbed at gunpoint on the street after exiting the CTA Greenline.
Incident times and locations:
- 200 block of N. Kedzie on March 24, 2015 at 1:20 am.
- 200 block of N. Central Park on March 25, 2015 at 8:30 pm.
Offender’s description:
- One offender is described as being a male black, unknown age, 5’6″ – 5’8″ tall, approximately 180 -190 lbs, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and a mask covering his face.
- The other offenders are (3) unknown male blacks.

DUI Saturation Patrol – 3rd (Grand Crossing) District & 25th (Grand Central)
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting DUI Strike Force Patrols in the 3rd (Grand Crossing) District and in the 25th (Grand Central) District this weekend.
The 3rd District DUI Strike Force Patrol will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015 and end at 3 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015.
The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence in the 25th District at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015 and end at 3 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2015.
COMMUNITY ALERT – Wanted for Attempt Child Luring – 015th District (Austin)
On March 30, 2015, at approximately 3:15-3:30 pm, two 9-year-old males exited school located in the 700 block of N. Lorel Ave. after dismissal and were walking southbound towards Huron St. when a white van pulled up. An unknown male black exited the van and said, “Come here, I got some candy for you,” while holding candy in his hand. The victims did not respond and continued walking. When the van began to follow them, the victims ran away and notified family members about the incident.
