Jason Caldwell was arrested in connection with a burglary that occurred on January 29, 2016 in the 300 Block of W. North Avenue in the overnight hours. Caldwell is a parolee, and was placed into custody after Area Central Detectives issued a warrant for his arrest.
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several residential burglaries that have occurred in the months of March and April. On March 27, 2016 at approximately 3:45 a.m., a 25 year old female victim parked her vehicle on the 200 block of N. Kenneth Ave. When she exited the vehicle with her infant child, an unknown offender approached on foot, displayed a handgun, and ordered her back into her vehicle.
The unknown offender then got into the driver’s seat of the vehicle and drove off with the female and her child. The offender sexually assaulted the victim prior to his exit from the vehicle, in the vicinity of Congress and Kolmar, and fled.
