This alert gives notice to residents of the 002nd District (Wentworth) of reported robberies and vehicular hijackings on Beats 212, 214, 221, 222.  In these incidents an offender(s) exited a vehicle or is walked near the victim, displayed a weapon, and took the victim’s property.

16 Apr 18-Community Alert-20th District-Residential Burglaries
This alert gives notice to Residential Burglaries that have occurred within the boundaries of the 20th District (Lincoln). These Burglaries have occurred in the area approximately from Thorndale to Summerdale, and Western to Rockwell. In these Burglaries, the unknown offender(s) forcibly gain entry into the residence through a rear door or rear window. In one incident, the offender(s) are masked and armed with a silver revolver. The offender(s) have taken televisions, jewelry, cash, credit cards and electronic equipment including computers and gaming systems.

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 16 District (Jefferson Park) of recent armed robberies that have occurred. In these incidents, the offenders approach the victim, displaying either a handgun or baseball bat, and then demand the victim’s property.

12 Apr 18 P18-2-031CA Auto Theft 22nd District
This alert gives notice of recent Auto Thefts that have occurred in the Washington Heights neighborhood on beat 2223. Victims have been leaving their cars running to warm them up in the morning hours.  Unknown offenders have been targeting the vehicles which are left unattended and running.  There have been seven vehicles taken recently in the area between the 9100-9900 blocks of Halsted to Eggleston streets.

11 Apr 18 Community Alert Robbery_P18-1-099 18th District
This alert gives notice to residents of the 18th (Near North) District of recently reported strong arm robberies.  In each incident, the offenders approach the victims, attack them using physical force, and take the victims property. The offenders then flee on foot or to a waiting vehicle. The incidents have occurred in Beat 1831.

11 apr 18-Community Alert-Wanted 001-018 District
On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at approximately 10:53 p.m. in the area of 1200 W. Webster Avenue, an unknown offender attacked a 21 year old female. The victim was walking east bound towards the Red Line Fullerton/Sheffield CTA train. The offender attacked the victim from behind by grabbing her by the neck in a choke hold and stabbing the victim repeatedly in the upper body area.  The offender never spoke and the victim was unaware that she was being followed. The offender fled east bound.
