16 Nov 18 18-CWP-009(BA) Business Alert 14th,17th,18th,19th and 25th District NP

This alert gives notice to recent Armed and Strong Armed Robberies of convenience stores that have occurred within the boundaries of the 14th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 25th Districts.  While all convenience stores could be a possible target, the ones mentioned in these incidents are 7-11 stores.  In these incidents at least two of the offenders approached the clerk, grabbed and forced him/her to open the cash register. In one incident the offenders displayed handguns.  The other offenders either entered the stores and stole merchandise or stood watch at the store entrance.  The offenders took an unknown amount of US currency from the cash registers, as well as, other items throughout the store.

15 Nov 18 - JB516631 Community Alert Criminal Sexual Abuse 14th District (Shakespeare) ---NP

On November 15, 2018, at approximately 8:05 a.m., a juvenile female victim boarded a CTA Blue Line train at the CTA Belmont train station, located at 3355 W. Belmont Ave. An unknown White male or White-Hispanic male offender stood in front of the victim and inappropriately touched the victim’s body on multiple occasions.  The victim exited the train at the CTA Division Blue line train station located at 1200 N. Milwaukee Ave., as the unknown male offender remained inside of the railcar.

14 Nov 18 - Wanted for Attempt Kidnapping 1
On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at approximately 4:15 p.m., a 10-year-old female victim had exited a CTA bus at 16th street and Homan and was crossing the street on Homan going northbound., when an African American male in a blue four door vehicle with his driver side window slightly down told victim “Get in the car so I can take you somewhere.”  victim ran away and offender then drove eastbound on 16th street from Homan Ave.

14 Nov 18 - JB-515021 Attempt Child Abduction-Child Luring 17th District (Albany Park) NP

This alert gives notice to a recent attempt of a child abduction that occurred within the boundaries of the 17th district (Albany Park).  In this case, the victim was walking westbound on Irving Park Road when the male offender seated in a red, 4-door, midsize sedan called the victim over to his vehicle and offered the victim a ride.  The victim refused and began to run away while the offender continued attempts to talk to the victim into his vehicle.

14 Nov 18 - P18-N-294(CA) Community Alert - Residential Burglaries 25th District (Grand Central) ---NP

This alert gives notice to residents in the 25th District (Grand Central) of recent residential burglaries that have occurred on beat 2524. In these incidents, an unknown offender(s) made forcible entry into the residences through a side window.  After entering the residences, the unknown offender (s) took property and an unknown amount of US currency.
