DUI STRIKE FORCE PATROL – GRAND CROSSING (3RD) DISTRICT
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Grand Crossing (3rd) District this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 26th, 2015.
ROADSIDE SAFETY CHECK – HARRISON (11TH) DISTRICT
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Harrison (11th) District at 4525 W. Madison Street. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18th, 2015.

Kankakee Escapee Kamron Taylor Arrested by Chicago Police
Escapee Kamron Taylor was taken into custody by Chicago Police in the 9200 block of S. Harper Ave. On April 3, 2015, at approximately 9:00 pm, 004th District officers responded to a call of a suspicious person, as the officers approached, Taylor fled on foot. Officers apprehended him a short distance away and recovered a loaded .38 caliber revolver. Taylor has been charged accordingly and will be turned over to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department at a later time to face local charges. Man Charged in Fatal Traffic Accident
Mathew Price was arrested after he was identified as the driver who struck and killed a 22-year-old female pedestrian. The traffic crash occurred in the 5900 block of S. Halsted St. on March 12, 2015 at approximately 1:45 p.m. Price did not stop after he struck the victim and was apprehended a short time later at 5300 S. Union. Price was charged accordingly.

Southside Man Charged in Domestic Related Shooting from 2014
Monte Williams was arrested after he was identified as the man who shot two people in 9500 block of S. Oglesby Ave. on August 31, 2014 at approximately 9:15 p.m. The 51 year old male victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and the 27 year old female victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. Both victims were taken to Christ hospital for treatment. No further information available at this time.
Southside Man Charged with Domestic Related Murder
Chris Moore was arrested after he was identified as the person who stabbed a 48 year old female. CFD and CPD personnel responded to a “person down” call on February 8, 2015 at approximately 12:10 p.m. in the 11300 block of S. Parnell Ave. and discovered an unresponsive female. It was later determined that the victim died from a stab wound to the abdomen. Moore was arrested and charged accordingly. No further information is available at this time.
